Founding Owner and CEO

Prior to becoming the CEO in September of 2017, Ms. Avila served as the COO for ITSC Secure Solutions, LLC (ITSC), formerly BMK Secure Solutions, for ten years.   

In addition to her leadership roles within ITSC, Ms. Avila has over ten years of Clinical Research/Program Management experience in many facets of management and monitoring to include: Study Management, Study Monitoring, and Data Management, as well as training of Clinical Research Staff for Investigational Device Exemption Studies, Post-Approval Studies, and Post Market Studies. She is experienced in ensuring a Clinical Research Study’s compliance to FDA regulations. Ms. Avila is a published author of three articles for The Journal of Medical Practice Management supporting, “How Clinical Research Can Grow a Medical Practice”; “Standard Operating Procedures for Clinical Research Departments”; and “Investigator Responsibilities for Clinical Research Studies: Proper Staffing Can Ensure An Investigator is Compliant”.

Ms. Avila is a graduate of Mount Holyoke College, South Hadley, MA. She also has an IS/IT Program Management Master’s Certificate, Villanova University.  

Ms. Avila is an Active Member of the Armed Forces Communications & Electronics Association (AFCEA) and a passionate supporter of Homes for Our Troops: Homes for Our Troops (HFOT) is a privately funded 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization that builds and donates specially adapted custom homes nationwide for severely injured post – 9/11 Veterans, to enable them to rebuild their lives.
