Position Overview
The Wing Medical Logistics Support Specialist will provide expert-level logistics support to the 492nd Special Operations Wing (492 SOW), ensuring the availability, accountability, and proper management of medical supplies and equipment in accordance with AFMAN 41-209, Medical Logistics Support. This position is ideal for logistics professionals with medical supply experience in Air Force or similar military environments.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage the receipt, storage, distribution, and accountability of medical supplies and equipment.
- Maintain compliance with AFMAN 41-209 standards for medical logistics support.
- Utilize DMLSS to track, order, and manage medical logistics operations.
- Coordinate with medical and operational units to ensure timely availability of required supplies.
- Maintain accurate records and prepare logistics reports as required.
- Support inspections, audits, and readiness evaluations related to medical logistics.

Required Experience & Knowledge
Minimum 3 years of experience in accountable and non-accountable medical supplies and equipment processes IAW AFMAN 41-209.
Demonstrated proficiency with the Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS) system.
Active Secret Clearance at the time of hire.
Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
